Meditations of a Pilgrim

I often used to think that people walking around happy and jolly were either pretending or  on something medicinal. It wasn’t until recently I began opening up to a new reality..that of happiness. Now instead of being the accuser, I am the accused. Have you ever noticed some people are always happier than the next? Offering a different perspective on life? Try not to get annoyed by them, instead study how they perceive things.
Instead of the doom and gloom, they see only sunshine and prosperity. They do not live in poverty, but in prosperity. Whatever the financial stability they are happy no matter what. This, in my view, is true wealth. Regardless of their given situation they make the best of it. Viktor Frankl was captured and put into a concentration camp, but even when hope was lost…he found it. It was his faith which strengthened his hope of one day walking out of the concentration camp, all the while ministering to the less hopeful, shedding Light on a bleak situation.

When Ani Po was a lost pilgrim, she could only see happy people as being delusional. How could they possibly be happy in today’s given state of economy? They must be living falsely or they must be on ‘happy pills.’ both may be true, but soon Ani Po would find out it was she that was delusional. As a Pilgrim she pooh-poohed these happy, positive people. As a Warrior, she is able to see them in a brighter light, showing their true identity…an Allie.
From seeing self-help gurus as only interested in their bank accounts, to seeing them as truly interested in helping the lost pilgrims of today. While some may be more interested in the paycheck, there are those who are authentically looking to serve the greater good.
Ani Po, during the times of poverty thinking (pilgrim thinking), she saw everyone as a threat. Seeing everyone as trying to manipulate her or take advantage of her. What she failed to realize is her pilgrim thinking, attracted more pilgrim thinking. Her negative thoughts were sent out into the universe as a prepaid order and the universe was happy to oblige in giving her what she continue to dwell upon. Changing her thinking to that of prosperity (warrior thinking), she began to see everyone as a mentor or an Allie, waiting to aid her in her quest towards happiness.
No longer feeling trapped or insecure with herself, Ani Po has found security in knowing that she is right on time, and perfect just the way she is. She has realized her imperfections are what make her unique and honoring her imperfections, she invariably sees perfection on a daily basis. Seeing a mirror image of imperfect perfection, she is able to see the perfections in all the imperfections that surround her.
Where do you see yourself? Are you still trapped in feeling like that of a pilgrim? That is OK. Just as Ani Po found out…you too shall see… you are right on time. How does one get to this place of Warrior Mentality? Ani Po did not go anywhere, in fact no books could teach her The Way. No guru could get her to see The Way. Instead she had to choose this path of Warrior, standing firmly in what she felt to be true.
Stepping into the Canvas as a Warrior. Knighted by the Most High, you have been appointed to watch over the seekers of Light. When asked how did you get there, you will tell them…From Pilgrim to Warrior in a single Thought. From Lost to Found I know this to be true.

Step of the Day

Stepping into the Canvas filled with Happiness. It is said that Happiness is The Way of travel and not a destination. Do not look for it…just accept it. We are not meant to dwell among the dead, but revel in the Living. Make today count…live it to the fullest.

The Warrior Meets a Travelling Man

Have you ever been on a vacation or just a simple trip via automobile, where you have met someone and felt like you have known them for quite sometime? Chances are you have. Maybe not in this lifetime, but maybe an earlier life or one before that.
Never believing in reincarnation or past lives, I found it difficult to read about people recounting past lives in different bodies and often different genders or race.

Dr. Brian Weiss has done extensive research on Regression Therapy. Regression Therapy is a Psychological Study of past lives. His most famous patient, Catherine, walked Dr. Weiss through over two hundred past lives, while in a hypnotic state. Her consciousness was brought to a level of the Akashic Records, a place of consciousness where all thoughts and memories are stored by all people. The question is not how she got to this place, but the question is whether her memories were hers or someone else. Making no difference, we focus on her recollections of past lives, detailing events that actually happened and extensively documented.
Our memories…are they ours or someone else? Are they an individual memory or is it a collective whole? Again, that not being the important thought here, but an idea of recounting past life. If everything is thought and we are all connected, then our consciousness is shared by everyone…making us one thought, one mind.
When we meet someone that we feel we have met before, chances are we have in a past life or a past memory stored within the Akashic Records. The significance of our meetings is similar paths that we have chosen to take. It is often said that our paths often cross many times, within multitudes of lifetimes.
Recently Ani Po (Hebrew for I AM Here) was traveling to foreign lands, when she ran into a traveling man. He was not from the area, but felt she knew this man before. His speech was of different tongue, but his mannerisms were very similar to Ani Po’s. After sharing conversation, they realized they were in deed descendants of the same family and both were on the path other great Warriors have taken.
Meeting on the same level allowed these two strangers to come together collectively, only to find out they were indeed related.
In a flash Ani Po is taken back one thousand years, to a time of turmoil and rule. She found herself as a man in darkened times where she was a knight, serving under rule of a King. She recalled the traveling man being there as well, fighting together for the greater good of the people. Restoring peace throughout the land was their main goal, while remaining loyal to the King. These elite Warriors were very efficient at restoring peace and serving justice as needed, authorized by the King himself to whatever means necessary.
With the death of their King, a successor was appointed. The Knights were strong in numbers and grew far more powerful than that  of the King himself. The successor did not have the best interest of the people in mind and began taking back land rights. Stripping farmers and land holders rights to the land given to them by previous Kings. The King further Taxed the farmers on the land they used, causing great hardship throughout the land. The Warriors did not rest easy with the changes at hand and began rebelling against the King, maintaining their loyalties to past leadership and interested only in making things right for the common people.
The king did not like this and laid down an executive order to have all Warriors executed simultaneously on an appointed day. That day being the thirteenth of October in the year of Thirteen Hundred and Fourteen. It was the largest massacre in history and tens of thousands were killed within a few short hours.
Ani Po recalls being aside the traveling man, fighting for the people only to have witnessed her (his) friend executed at the order of the King. Watching his friend go limp with no life remaining he (Ani Po) vowed to fight, for all eternity, those lost and scared, seeking higher ground…no matter the price. That day Ani Po and the travelling man gave their lives fighting for the common people of their time, when they both returned to present time they knew who they were.
Embracing each other, shedding tears of joy, they both wept for the battles they fought. When the Traveller asked Ani Po is she would do it all over again, she replied…”I never stopped fighting for the greater good.” The Traveller smiled, knowing they have both been battling darkness for all eternity and shedding Light on the darkened path. They part, saying goodbye as if they were back in ancient times, regardless of Ani Po’s current form of a woman.
Ani Po: “Good day to you Brother!”
traveling Man: “And to you Brother, May God shine upon you all the days of your Life.”
Ani Po: “May it shine Brighter for you.”

Next time you meet someone who is on the same wavelength as you…know that you have been here before. Just as Ani Po found in a single handshake, we too will find common ground with strangers. From stranger to Brother in a single moment.
Stepping into the Canvas seeing all as Brother or Sister. In life there are no strangers, only friends you haven’t met. When we elevate to a level as this, we instinctively bless all those we meet. Encouraging those around us, contributing to their growth and self-worth, allowing them to master their own fate.

Step of the Day

Stepping into the Canvas as Authentic as possible. Today…be the best version of you as possible. There is not another person on the planet who can do it for you. Out of 6.8 Billion people, there is only one of you…and you are perfect just the way you are. Feeling imperfect? Well join the club…we are all imperfectly perfect!

Living in Paradise

Whether we choose to see hell on earth or heaven on earth, either way we are correct. It merely comes to a choice…what is it that we want? Do we want happiness in our lives, igniting a spark of the divine with in our being? or do we prefer to remain in a fiery inferno of hate, fear and other negativity?
It truly is our choice as how we perceive this world. Do not look to the streets for the answers of today, instead look to the stars for the answers that lay within. We are surrounded by negativity, but also surrounded by positivity. Which we choose to see, is our choice. Why not choose the latter of the two?
When we focus on the positive side of things, we enter into a realm of unlimited possibilities or infinite potentiality. Carlos Castenada refers to this as ‘The Active Side of Infinity.” Think about that for minute…and then come back to read the rest.

… to access the field of pure potentiality is through practice of non-judgment. Judgment is the constant evaluation of things as right or wrong, good or bad. When you are constantly evaluating, classifying, labeling, analyzing, you create a lot of turbulence in your internal dialogue. This turbulence constricts the flow of energy between you and the field of pure potentiality.

~Deepak Chopra
When we focus on what we truly want in life, opening a door to unlimited possibilities, we essentially tap into the Life Force that co-creates our every desire. This Life Force is always working. Unfortunately it is the same force that co-creates what we do not want in our lives, cautioning us to really focus our intent on what we do want in our lives…not what we do not.

Focusing on the negative side of infinity visually impairs us into seeing hate,

fear and destruction,

leading us to our own decay.

Changing our perspective to the active side of infinity, we are born into unlimited Life Possibilities…igniting a fire within. The fire within is the beginning to a raging forest fire, clearing all negativity from our dashboard of life. Planting New Life, we harvest a bit of Heaven on a daily basis.
Stepping into the Canvas on the Active Side of Infinity, creating the life we always dreamed of. Cancelling our subscriptions to old paradigms of thinking, we subscribe to a new thought process. This process is not concerned what others think, what everyone else is doing or what suffering is going on in the world. No…the new thought process…is in this simple question…What is it that I want? Own it…and you too shall be Living in Paradise.

Step of the Day

Stepping into the Canvas “Walking Forward.” Moving forward, encouraging others to personal growth, we are growing in the Divine Light sent from a higher plane. Everyday we have an opportunity to change our reality to that which we most desire, why not make the necessary steps? Some can jump right in, taking a giant leap of faith and that is great. It is equally great to those who choose ‘bay-steps’ forward. As long as we are moving forward, we are moving towards that which we most desire.

Note: “Walking Forward” was inspired by my dear Friend Jenn..thank you Jenn.

Attitude is Everything

I cannot help but ponder upon a simple phrase displayed on a local Sheriff’s automobile. Their slogan is “Attitude is Everything.” How profound and amazing as to the many angles we could spin on this. For the Sheriff’s Department it signifies pride in what they do. To the lay people, it signifies a tough-guy image and implanting fear into the minds of the people. For me it means so much more.
On a daily basis we are subject to suffering and miracles. The downside to both messages, we only hear the negative via various media outlets. While both do exist, we only see the bad.. When we cannot see the good, we are left feeling miserable or feeling as a failure to ourselves, our families and our communities.
Today is different. Today is the day we no longer focus our attention on negativity of life, but focus on the miracles of life: Every breath is a miracle in itself; Our voice…another miracle; The fact that we have the ability to seek positive change…another miracle. Yes, today is the day that our life will truly change. Today is the day we feel good about ourselves, no matter how imperfect we think we are. Who is perfect? I haven’t met anyone yet. However, seeing myself as imperfectly perfect…now perfection Shines On!

Attitude is Everything…why not have a Good one!

If we are surrounded by negativity, how do we see anything but? The idea is to realize negativity and positivity will always will exist in the Universe…basic Law of Polarity. Whether we see the negative side of things or the positive side of things…it is merely a choice that dictates our reality. If we see the senseless murders as horrible, allowing them to instill fear into our beings then we have succumbed to the very subject of the negativity. Rising above these instances of negativity, we focus on good. Choosing good over bad, takes an attitude created in Love. Love is the answer to all things, but the intent behind the Love can change the outcome. A person who Loves to create chaos is acting on a different level of Love. Which level one chooses depends on the Attitude they choose…bringing us back to the phrase “Attitude is Everything.”

“I never met a bitter person who was thankful.

Or a thankful person who was bitter.”

~Nick Vujicic

Our whole life can be summed up by these words…”Walking Forward.” As long as we are moving forward, encouraging others to personal growth, we are growing in the Divine Light sent from a higher plane.

Stepping into the Canvas with a New Attitude. Focusing only on that which brings positivity into our lives, we dissipate the chances of negativity from seeping into our daily lives. With an occasional bump in the road, we re-align our steering towards our final destination…Pure Happiness.
