Spirit Calls Once Again

Have you ever had a gut feeling about something? Have you ever felt like you needed to do something? Or have you ever gotten the strange urge to call a friend to deliver some news? Chances are you are receiving a message from the field of possibilities.

I am still in awe every time this happens and so honored to have these messages flow through. My favorite moments are when connecting with someone, only to call on other people, who I later find out, are already connected with this person. The mystery and story unfolds as I carry a message to someone new.  Better yet, they accept the call into the field and travel with me into the great unknown…a place of infinite possibilities. I am not here to squelch anyone’s dreams…I am here to encourage them.

When we let go of our previous teachings or the previous upbringings of control, we open up to endless possibilities of new beginnings…creating a sea of potentiality. How does one get there? For most people, sadly, it takes a tragedy in life to get them to see the truth of ‘all things.’ However, these tragedies are merely disguises for great things to come. How many times have we heard of someone hitting rock bottom, only to climb to the highest mountains?

We do not have to wait for this time, but as humans we see no point in doing anything other than what we already know…remaining complacent in our days. Until one day we are forced to make a decision between the same up and down roller coaster ride or a new ride that screams endless excitement with a ‘no low’ guarantee. It is all possible…and it is possible now.

As I write this, I hear a voice, whispering into my ear…no name, no label…just a whisper. It begins to dictate, “we are all here to learn from one another and we are here to grow in our true-self, rising to the occasion of being a Warrior once more. There shall come a time in everyone’s life, they will need to make a choice. Stay on this side of the valley or travel the rocky path to nowhere, trusting that paradise awaits. Those willing to cross the valley of death, shall find paradise. Those afraid, stuck in the ordinary, shall never experience extraordinary. It is in our own death of flesh, that Spirit is born unto us.”

Out of the darkened night;

Spirit calls me into the Light.

Deep within the Words;

I begin to flow.

Within the lessons dare I go?

They present themselves only to me.

Choose to;

Or choose not.

Allowing myself the past;

Present;

Future…and what is to come.

Trusting, believing;

It is so.

Stepping, knowing;

Reality is true.

My darkened past…released.

My future…revealed.

Still only remaining…the Now.

Do what with needs to be;

With my day.

Go where the call takes me;

Still a mystery.

Wherever this may be;

Or whatever I am to do.

Know this…my Heart leads the way.

Whether you are stuck or have no idea where to go from here, stop and listen. Chances are Spirit is calling you by name. Those willing to hear the call, shall answer to the great I Am; those willing to answer the call, shall arrive Right on time.

Stepping into the Canvas with our Heart as our guide. Whatever the darkened past or lessons of life, we all have access to a powerful source of Light housed within. Follow this light and we will not be led astray…we shall find paradise. Listen to Spirit…and She will lead you there.

Remember Where You Started

I can still hear my father’s wisdom over the years and lucky to still have him around, sharing wisdom of his life experiences. He has shared so much wisdom through the years, but being young, I didn’t listen. Until now the words and wisdom ring true in my own life, passing them onto the next generation.

Things like: “everything in moderation”;” everything has a purpose”; “be kind”; “be prepared. But my favorite is this: “remember where you started.” The latter of these, remains layered. While at first glance it takes a meaning of socioeconomic status, but upon further discovery, becomes something far greater.

I reflect on this lesson often, but this morning brought it to the forefront of thoughts as I was given the ‘cheap seats.’ Something to be said about getting your favorite locker each and every morning, for the past five or six years at 5 AM. Not sure if it is the conformity and ritual of our days, or feeling special, that brings us the most joy.

Happiness begins at the end of one’s comfort zone.~Neale Donald Walsch

Given a locker on the other side of the locker room, it felt like I had been stripped from the ranks of the important people. This is ego-thinking. After further review of the situation, It brought gratitude. Gratitude for the fact that I even got a locker. Thanking the person at the front desk, they thought I was being facetious. I would too. But in all sincerity I looked to her, smiled and said, “no really, I am grateful for the locker and I am grateful of your cheerful smile everyday. Thank you. Thank you for brightening my day and bringing a lesson of my father back to the forefront.”

Returning the facetious gestures or what she thought was facetious, she said, knowing that I write about my days, please don’t write about me in your daily blog. Laughing now, I go on my day. Thank you Debbie…you are one in a million.

So where did we come from? Where are we going? We all seek this answer, but never really get the answers. Or do we?!

There are some who obviously have started with nothing, judging by their socioeconomic status. There are those who’ve been handed a golden spoon, never really knowing what it is to struggle. Either way both groups never really have a good understanding of reality. Unless the other is willing to learn from the other, person will never know what it’s like. This is true about all groups and all sectors. If we’re unwilling to learn from our neighbors, we will never know how they live. Remove the socioeconomic status, religious beliefs, and we all come from the same place. We have all come from the womb, entering this world with nothing….leaving with nothing. The illusion is we think we are this or that or the materials we accrue over the years. We associate our self-worth by the materials collected versus our happiness collected.

Truthfully I say to you, we are not the material “stuff,” we are not how high on the socioeconomic ladder we get…we Just are. We are in this together, whether we like it or not. We are here to get along…and need to start acting like it. Love thy neighbor as thyself.

Throughout our day, as we take in the beauty, we are given opportunities to say thank you. Thank you for the beautiful day painted before us; thank you for the backdrop of the sun and the blood red sky in the East; thank you for the clouds that cover us; thank you for everything around us; Thank you for the opportunities! As we go in gratitude…we become more accepting of the differences of our brothers and sisters, leading to more gratitude. Lend a hand, study with them, learn from them, grow from them…we are all here to learn from each other.

Then the dust shall return to the earth as it was; and the Spirit shall return to God who gave it. ~Ecclesiastes 12:7

Going back to the beginning, within it all, all thoughts are born. Our intentions are manifested out into the world…we have to feel it and believe it. As the ego dies, Spirit is born within each and everyone of us. Our own death, and resurrection of Christ within, is symbolic of: protection, life, unconditional love, new beginnings, connections, life ever-lasting. When humbled and able to extend our arms, vulnerable, in full submission, we are made strong.

We are the beginning and the end and need only travel the path of other warriors before us. The path less traveled, but the most important towards our own happiness. The path least traveled is the path inward. Inward we find nothing, yielding everything. In nothingness, we project outwards…everything!

From Source we came; To Source we return.~Ani Po

Peeling our own layers, we discover new meanings to life itself. Things that once made sense no longer do; things not apparent, shall be made so. The lessons of our own fathers, shall be made known by Our Father. Through the inward journey, we discover the child within…through this child, we discover the Father without.

Stepping into the Canvas in remembrance. Remembering where we started, peeling back even more layers, we arrive at a place of oneness. Accepting all as it is, more importantly accepting our true nature…that of Love. Walking in true nature…we plant seeds for brighter days…carrying the Light of the world…ending in pure Bliss.

The Rainbow Bridge: Bridging The Past And Present

It is this very moment that which is a pivotal point in history. Not a global sense, but on an individual sense. All the teachings of old and all the references of how “we” should be…all point to the self. Our actions can change our own history, thereby changing history of humanity. It is our actions that can change seven generations after us.

The ‘Seven Generations’ is a philosophy, or a teaching, that the indigenous people from all across the globe have taught their children for centuries. Their philosophy is: our actions in this very moment have the ability to change seven generations after our own. Think about it, we not only think about our own personal life, but the generations to come. This simple act raises our awareness to a higher vibration of awareness. This simple act can change future generations, but what about the seven generations before us?

It is this essential time that we must forgive and allow healing to begin, allowing the seven generations before us to be healed. With awareness of our actions, we change the course of history for seven generations, but through forgiveness of ourselves, and where we have traveled, we allow our ancestors to heal as well.

As we forgive, we heal our past. Not just our own, but the seven generation before us. As we forgive, releasing the shadows of the past, we step forward into brighter light…that of love. With every step from there forward, we change the seven generations of the future. Thereby in this very moment we have the ability to bridge the seven generations before and the seven generations after.
We are the Rainbow Bridge. Just as the rainbow reminds us of the beauty from the rain, it gives us further wisdom of our daily actions. Imagine the seven colors of the rainbow: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. The colors of the Rainbow are symbolic of the seven generations, with each color symbolic of each generation of the past.  Our past projects the colors forward, received at a pivotal point in history, that being us, and are projected outward in pure light. We are that pivotal point.

The Rainbow Bridge is often correlated with bridging the gap between the physical plane and the afterlife. It is much more than that. It is the bridge that carries us from different planes: before and afterlife, generations to generation. We are the Rainbow Bridge, we are the pivotal point in history, we are the change we seek.

If we take a crystal, putting it in the path of the sun, a rainbow emerges.  On one side pure light, while projecting the spectrum of a rainbow from the other. This is reflective of the self, as we focus on the source of light we are shown the rainbow of our past. Our knowledge of who we are, where we have traveled and how our DNA has been handed down to us, becomes that much clearer…We Just Know.

Focusing on the painted colors of our past, just for a moment, we allow ourselves to heal. Through our healing process, awareness, and intentions, our focus shifts to what we want most…more Light. Allowing the teachings of the seven generations before, we project forward, manifesting a life filled with more light.

As the pivotal point within self, we shift from the morning of our lives into the afternoon of our lives.

During our own lifetimes we make a shift in consciousness, no longer living vicariously, but purposefully. As Carl Jung often discussed, we shift from the ‘morning of our lives’ to the ‘afternoon of our lives’ changing our steps and our actions to that of being more purposeful. We are the pivotal point from past to future, in our lifetime and in past and future lifetimes. In this present moment, we have the ability to heal not only ourselves, but the seven generations before and after. We are the Rainbow Bridge receiving the seven generations of the past, while projecting forward pure light…pure bliss.

But how? How can we bridge the gap between past and present? How do we heal our ancestors of old? Through the forgiveness of self, we forgive them and the teachings that have brought darkness upon us. Through our own forgiveness we forgive the past generations, thereby healing them and releasing them of any guilt. Lifting this guilt our consciousness becomes that much lighter…allowing our steps to be such.

But what our future? How can we assure our future generations? Through Love. Love is the highest vibration on the spectrum of Light. As our darkened past enters, we forgive. Through our forgiveness, we transform our past into a Loving, brighter future.

After receiving this message and writing it down, I shared them with a co-worker. As we discussed the here and now, changing our own history, we began to see wholeness within the self, our ancestors of before and those who have not yet arrived. We saw the “red Thread” of humanity within the self. This red thread intertwines us all within the present, but also intertwines us with the past, present and future. This thread cannot be broken, but it can be threaded with Love. Love is the pivotal point, it is the Rainbow Bridge. When we forgive ourselves of our past, we are stepping forward In Love. In Love, we step gracefully and purposefully not only for the self, but for future generations.

Talking about the here and now, the seven generations are not about the seven generations of before-and-after, but about the self. In one hand we have our past, the other our future. As we bring them together in Love, we heal all the generations before and after, allowing Love and Light to prevail. Our past is also symbolic of the masculine, while the future symbolizes the feminine. Bringing the masculine and the feminine together, as one, we are made whole once again. In wholeness, we move forward effortlessly, shedding more light on our days.

My co-worker had an a-ha moment just then, as she discussed the book of Revelations. Revelations talks about an end of days, but too often we look to the future for this great battle of humanity…when we need only look within myself. This battle spoken in revelations is not of humanity but on individual level. Those willing to stand and fight against themselves shall find paradise. As we walk through our personal ‘Valley of Death,’ we emerge victorious over our self-mastery.

As one co-worker was explaining to another about the conversation we had, she expresses, “You thought all that this morning?” I replied yes. “And here all I thought was TGIF.”

Laughing now we both acknowledge that TGIF can sum up what had just been written. What I just thought of and what she just thought of…is just that. It’s that pivotal point in our lives that we just say, “TGIF.” My co-worker laughing now replies, “I’m on fire!”

Stepping into the Canvas as the Rainbow Bridge, bridging the gap between our past and future. As we step in forgiveness, the generations before shall be healed; Stepping in compassion our future just got a whole lot brighter.

The Greastest Gift: Self-Actualization

I often find myself on a cyclical pattern, with thoughts of giving up writing and sharing my thoughts with others, as if crawling back into my turtle shell. However, being the slight extrovert I am, I sit quietly with my thoughts and re-evaluate my path moving forward…only to emerge with fire.

The world ebbs and flows, whether we like it or not. Nature has no direction, but ‘just is.’ Getting to a place of, as my dear friend Ben states “Just Be,” we arrive at a place of non-judgement. Non-judgement, not only on the self, but for all people. We become more patient, we accept all peoples and live without fear of what the world says we should.

Is it natural to have days of “Oh woe is me?” Of course it is…we are having human moments! Everything in nature has cycles: the moon, the sun, plant-life, animals, humans…we all have them. The difference, not to say we are different, is that we are human and we have brains to think with. “We think, therefore we are.” Those lucky enough to accept enlightenment, find oneness and embrace both the ups and downs within their own lives. I say accept enlightened beings, as we are all enlightened…we merely have forgotten.

Often times, it is our lows that shoots us to the moon with a new idea, a new direction…the key to this…follow the dream, making necessary adjustments to the daily grind. In doing so, we make room for a new beginning. The most difficult step is always the first, but stepping in faith we arrive in hope.

So what does it for me? What breaks my cycles? A nice note from someone battling their own journey, telling me not of what they have done, but what they are doing. When we witness another asserting themselves in the Light of hope, we are assured our works have not been for naught. Although, the only person we need correcting to gain access to paradise is the self, it sure is a wonderful feeling knowing that you helped another along The Way.

We are here to learn and grow, but we are also here to share our experiences. Not to force feed them to anyone, but to allow them to take your hand. In taking another persons hand, we are accepting their path and sharing the experience. Chances are it shall be a domino effect on another…so the journey continues…

Stepping into the Canvas Knowing. As we set out to change the world, we come to a place of self-revitalization. Coming to this place, our eyes are given a fresh new appearance. The glaze of old removed and the Rainbow of new hope prevails. Our lives become fresh and giddy, as if entering our childhood once again. This is our greatest gift..the gift of Knowing Thyself…inside and out.

Mirror Image: Seeing What We Want To See

As we converse with another and our vibration rises to that of feeling good, we are witnessing ourselves. Opposing, when we converse with someone that brings us down, we are seeing ourselves. How can this be true? How can we see ourselves in another when they are a downer and/or an uplifting person? Truthfully, we have the ability to be either a ‘Debby Downer’ or a ‘Happy Pappy,’ it merely comes down to choice. How we see others is how we want to be seen.

It is said that when we are feeling good, we are feeling God and when we are not feeling good, we are lacking Source Energy. However…if there is no place He is not and God is everywhere…even when we are down, then we need only realize this to pick ourselves up. Usually through acts of gratitude or forgiveness we ascend to the level of higher vibrations.

Those who make us feel good, are those we wish to emanate…carrying the higher vibration we seek. By emanating them does not mean we idolize them. It merely means we are trying to better ourselves to that which we most desire…our higher self.  Seeing someone who resembles those levels, we naturally gravitate towards them.

Similarly, when we exude elevated levels of consciousness, there are others who will want to mirror them. A word of caution: As we gain more confidence in our being, there will be those who challenge us…trying to bring us back down to levels of fear and anger. Stay the course, remaining at levels of joy and happiness. There are those who will bring us down with a sharpened tongue or raise us up with a helpful hand…choose wisely who we associate with.

There is yet another way to this mirror effect. The mirror-effect is that process of mirroring that which we most desire. Therefore, if we want to raise our vibration to that of love, we could adopt the principles of others and emanate them. Or we can just choose to be that of Love.  The mirror effect can work on the outer plains, but is most effective when we enter the inner plains. Changing the inner plains to that of Love, or allowing Love to prevail, we then begin projecting Love outwards to the outer realms of our realities.

We can easily go from beehive to beehive to find the latest buzz, but then eventually we get stung. Eventually we let go of the belief of “I have to do this or that” and we simply choose to be happy…wherever we go. Traveling inward, often the hardest thing to do, is the greatest journey of this lifetime. ~Ani Po

Stepping into the Canvas with mirror in hand, seeing the Canvas only as we see fit. That which we most desire, shall be accepted on the inner realms, projected toward the outer realms. As we clear the internal Canvas of life, our outer Canvas is made new. Painted in Love and Peace, we project a new painting each new day.

Rewriting Life Chapters

As we cycle through the chapters of our lives, we either pay attention to the pages or we skim along. Not one person can write our chapters for us…for it is our own responsibility to write them. Going through the motions or putting things to motion, it’s up to us.

What happens if we come to the next chapter and the pages are blank? Occasionally this does happen: a cycle ends, leaving us in wonder of what to do. It is suggested we sit in contemplation, giving thanks to where we have traveled and how far we have come. In giving thanks to our travels, we are launched forward into more chapters of gratitude.

The morning met me with blank pages. I went to the gym at 5 AM, with the intent of working out. My workouts are usually ready and written out before I step foot in the gym, but was surprised when nothing was written on the pages…I had no plan. It was at this moment, of blank pages, I realized the cycle has been repeated many times before.  After completing an intense twelve week lifting regime, I started a twelve week cardio-routine only to quit at week three. How do I know this?…because the pages were empty. This is not the first time. As I stated earlier…I have repeated this cycle before.

As I turn the page in my workout journal, the pages were blank. My first response was “oh no what am I going to do?” Laughing now, I realize that I’ve repeated this cycle before. You see, I did a twelve-week intense weightlifting cycle followed by a cardio-cycle. The problem is two to three weeks into the cardio-cycle I dropped off and lost interest in the cycle. This time is different…I press on. Tonight, I will re-write this chapter of my life…I will write the next nine weeks of cardio.

How do I go about pressing on? Rather simply, I write the next chapter. As we write down our intentions on the pages of our lives, we are committing to carrying out the writings. By writing out the next few weeks of the cardio-cycle, I will see them through.

Just as in writing our personal  chapters for one aspect of life, we can apply this to every aspect. Whether it is mind, body, or soul, we can apply these steps in our daily lives. When the pages are blank, the skies the limit…write the pages as if limitless possibilities exist.

For me, I enter a cycle of physicality. A cycle where I focus on my physical fitness. Not for any one reason except that wholeness includes: physically fit; mentally fit; and spiritually fit…the greatest of these is spirituality. In strengthening the first two, spirituality will sure to follow. However, strengthening ones faith will attract the other two.

This is a daily practice. Every day make a point of exercising the physical body, the mental body, and the spiritual body. Exercising the three we are whole.

The physical body is exercised through…you guessed it…physical activity. Whatever your favorite activity is, please add it to your days. Whether it’s walking, running, swimming or conditioning with weights, it is a self-obligation to strengthen the physical body. In order to strengthen the temple, which houses the spiritual and mind-body, we must exercise the body. What if we are limited by physical bodies? Do what is most appropriate to our ability…while dropping limiting beliefs.

Exercising the mind-body is a little different. Some may use crossword puzzles, word games, reading, or just stretching the imagination. Whatever the case take twenty minutes out of the day to exercise that mind-body. Read a book, do puzzles…stretch the mind further than before. In doing so we exercise the brain, keeping the physical muscle healthy into later years.

The spiritual body is different. This we exercise throughout the day, as it encompasses all. With our intent, we are led through the mind and physical bodies. If our spiritual connection lacks exercise, then our daily mind and physical activities will prove difficult. If we are connected to that of source, then all things will just go with the flow. It is essential to be present in our days and mindful of our activities. Many will say this is wasted energy, assuredly it is not. Connect with source as often as possible and everything else will follow.

We can choose to sit passively upon our empty pages, or we can securely write the next chapters. Just as in empty pages of my workout journal, there are often empty pages within our lives. We can choose to throw our hands up in helplessness or we can press forward in confidence. Even if the direction is unclear, the effort is not for naught…press on.

Remaining passive, often stagnating our position; whilst assertiveness ignites the flame of desire.

Whatever the chapters may hold: if it is positive, negative or blank…they are meant to be re-written. We have the ability to re-write at any given moment…our own chapters of life as we see fit. If there is something holding us back, change the vision. It is through our own thoughts our beliefs are changed. If things are not the way we would like them to be…then it is time to change our thoughts to that of which we desire. Aligning with source aids in this process…igniting the internal flame of desire. Ignite the flame now.

Stepping into the Canvas with eraser and pencil in hand. If the future looks bleak or the past has a stronghold on today, erase these thoughts of despair and re-write them with confidence and hopefulness. As we erase thoughts of negativity, re-write them with positivity. Time to re-write the next chapter of life…now.

Changing Perspectives: Going From Can’t To Can

If all we know is all we know, that is all we will ever know…unless of course we open the possibilities to change. Imagine living in a small town thinking that this is the only way to live, only to visit or move to another city, experiencing a whole different world.

This happens not only in how we live, but in all aspects of life. With people born into a certain religious belief and theirs is the only way to live, gaining access to paradise. Truthfully there’s more than one way.

Is it the religion or the belief that gains access to paradise? This is to be determined by the self, not by any other person. We are told how to live, how to think and how to be, until one day we say ‘no more.’ It is on this day that we take life by the horns, living authentically as the self. No longer subscribing to this or that, but subscribing to ourselves…Living a Syncrosensational  Life.

It is at this moment in time our construct cracks open, open wide. Our boundaries expand and our perspectives change. From can’t to can, we begin to create a life we were meant to live. From can’t to can, is not easy. I say this because all pilgrims before me stand in their confines of previous beliefs, having all been afraid to take the first steps.

It is the first step that is the most frightening, but most liberating. We’ve been told that to think differently than what the 99% believes, is blasphemy. To think that we can create the life that we dream of, considered absurd by many. This I say to you … This is true and we can create a life of happiness!

Until we take that first step out of the ordinary…we shall never know extraordinary. Imagine it’s not really a religion, but the belief that gains access to paradise. Whether Christian, Muslim, or Jew we all come from the same tree of life. The time has come to unite as one. Not on a global sense, but on an individual level.

As we learn oneness on an individual basis, it stretches globally as one. There are no things impossible in this world. Going from first person singular, two third person singular… I becomes we. It is not the self that can do all things, but the self in all things that can do these things. It is the ‘I’ as in ‘we’ that we can do all things. We are a part of the collective whole, and we can create the life intended for us. Why not start now?

Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.~Marcus Aurelius

There are many excuses that keep us from taking these first steps: “I don’t have time, I don’t know where to begin, I just can’t.” All of these are roadblocks of self-sabotage to the self. Make some time, know that you can…through taking the first step. It is that simple.

If it is time that you need, then ask a friend or a loved one to help. Take one day out of the week, have someone watch the kids and block some sacred ‘me’ time, allowing yourself to take that first step. Whether it’s time to think, time to act, or just time to be…whatever the case, it is necessary to take that ‘me’ time. Schedule some time during the week: maybe its 20 minutes a day; maybe it’s a one hour block during the week…whatever the case schedule some time now.

If the fact remains we are stuck not knowing where to go, then it is time to paint a new vision board per se. Whether it is writing it down or painting a new Canvas, the process of visually and concretely writing into stone, allow us to re-wire our thinking, changing our road-map to life. What is it that you want? What will make you happy? These are pilgrims questions as to what our lives need most to create happiness. Find the answers, write them down…and soon you shall join other warriors Stepping assertively into the Canvas.

If the belief that one ‘cannot do it,’ then it is time to take a leap of faith. Without faith, we may never find hope. Without hope, we may never find our bliss. I once read a book on management skills and it said, “fake it until you make it.” It does not suggest that we live a false life, but encourages us to find what we want and begin the motions of living the process until it becomes a daily, unconscious, thought. Call on friends, call on source…if you are stuck…call someone. We can do ‘all things’ through Him. Him is reference to God, Allah, Source, Universal Life Force or The Way…it just IS. With our willingness to take the first step, we take a leap of faith…traveling the Warrior’s Path.

When we focus on what we want in life, we are sure to receive it. Unfortunately for some, they still focus on what they least desire…the universe knows no difference. Where the attention goes, the energy flows. Remain focused on what you don’t want and the universe will give you more of what you do not want. Changing your thoughts to that of what you do want, the universe delivers every time.

Stepping into the Canvas as a New Day. Whatever the past have painted or whatever the future may hold, make today the best day ever. On this day…may your thoughts be on that which you most desire. Remaining focused on your dreams, the universe conspires in your favor, re-aligning the collective whole so that it may be so. With intent setting your course, aligning with a universal life force…making it so…taking us from Can’t to Can.
