Beauty in Imperfection

There is a kind of beauty in imperfection.~Conrad Hall

Nothing in this world is perfect, except for the observation of all imperfections as divinely perfect. It is through varying colors our canvas of life is painted in divine perfection. Bad day or another lesson to learn? Unfortunate circumstance or perfect timing? Beauty lay within the perception of things…why not see the beauty in all?

Sitting Quietly

Sitting quietly, beauty remains.~Ani Po

Our lives may prove very challenging at times. Work experiencing great change, family midst a crisis, all the while we are trying to remain at peace with given situations. There may be no other alternative but to let go and trust all will be good. Chances are the storm shall pass and we can return to our happy places we once knew.

How does one get there? Simple…we sit quietly, allowing the storm to pass. Ancient wisdom has proven that all things, all circumstances shall soon pass…allowing for brighter days to present. So, for today, sit quietly…allow the storm to pass…and beauty shall once again smile upon your day…

Thus Sings my Soul

Joyful and blissful nature calls my name, thus sings my soul.~Ani Po

It is very easy to get caught up in the monotony of our days, only to cover the beauty within our canvas. Returning to that which brings us joy, we find the beauty once more. Retreat from the pressures of the day and into the natural setting within the soul…

Autumn Arrives in Early Morning

Autumn arrives in early morning, but spring at the close of a winter day.~Elizabeth Bowen

Seasons come and seasons go, just as the last becomes the first. With each new day promises a new beginning, with every cold of winter days the fresh smell of spring. Sit in the autumn of our days or reach for new growth of spring…this is our choice for the day.

Three Things Cannot Be Long Hidden

Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.~Buddha

Eventually the sun and moon will show their bright faces, so to the truth shall be revealed. Clouds may hide us from seeing it, the view may be obscured…but with patience they will shine before us.

Life Can Only Be Understood Backwards

Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.~Soren Kierkegaard

In looking back on ones life, we could easily hold grudges or use events as excuses to why or why not things worked as they should have. Or we could simply accept them as they were, knowing we are exactly where we’re supposed to be. Again…it is merely a choice.

What if we are not where we would like to be? Then I guess the universal forces are calling to make necessary changes in our lives. There is always an opportunity for change and the time is always now. What holds us back?

Holding to the past, we cannot grasp the future. Letting go of the past, accepting everything as “it should be” we allow ourselves a clearer understanding of what we are to do. What is it that we are supposed to do? Live.

Living in the past we cannot fully live, as we are weighted down by the shortcomings or excuses to what might be. Look back, reflect…but then let go. A new day is upon us…a new opportunity to Live…

Life can only be understood backwards

Lives are Like a Broken Record

Often our lives are like a broken record…so are the messages brought forth.~Ani Po

I am certain people will say “you say the same things over and over,” but are they listening? Often times our lives appear to be repetitious, only because we see it as such or fail to heed the call of our inner voice. This is a plea for all humanity…take back what is due…reclaim the happiness that we are searching for. It is there…we need only reach for it…
