Awareness

Awareness

Recently there is a deeper awareness of those around me. Seeing myself in their behaviors.

Just like someone addicted to smoking or alcohol, there is a deeper addiction we may have. Speaking from personal experience of course…unsure of what others may relate to. Is it a soulful addiction that I have clung to?

After last couple sittings, there has been an overwhelming desire for calmness and quietude/ communion with nature. When engaging with others and realities of the day, I am witness to hostility or maybe overwhelming thoughts of fear and anger (not my own but others projecting onto me)…pointing fingers and projection on others for own lack of understanding.

I do not want to play that game anymore. I am just going to be.

But how does one react to others when as soon as you speak a single word there are accusations of getting “worked up?” While simultaneously laughing internally at the accusations? Is it worth our time to speak up at the accusations or is it better to take a breath? Allowing things to diffuse or pass. Will there be resolution if it is not dealt with?

What are your thoughts? What do you choose?

Stepping into the Canvas sending silent blessings to those around us. For lack of understanding or a misread, we could correct the others or we can simply smile and send them silent blessings. So for today…let us try to send healing and peaceful thoughts to those pointing fingers…
