Canvas as a Metaphor

Walls stripped naked

Carpet pulled out

From under our feet.

Tackling a serpent

Unclogging foundation of sorts.

Deep within

Paralleled realities.

Inner greets outer

With a gentle kiss or mighty roar.

Stern and unmoved

Fluid and free.

Often times our daily events are mirrored by thought. What we deal with on inner caverns of self, we parallel our surroundings as such. As an extension of body, our home, vehicle or place of work becomes an extension of physical body. At close glance it appears to be an awful experience, but deeper ogling similarities between inner and outer worlds emerge. Is our life a metaphor or is metaphor our life?
