Foreword into the Canvas

mindful

When I began writing Stepping into the Canvas, I had no idea what I was about to embark upon. After a couple of years spreading Love and positivity, I found myself surrounded with positive and loving people. Truly blessed by each new day, I give back frivolously to a new agenda.

Each new day, I arise to the possibility that I can make a difference…I can change the world. Am I a dreamer? Am I crazy? Some will say this is true, but I know otherwise.  I Am crazy…I am in Love with all there is. Lord, give me strength to make a difference today, for just only one person. Let me being a smile, laughter, giving hope to another soul. Before I step into my day, I ask this of you…for I cannot do it alone.

Reflecting back on my own life, I realized I had been preparing for this all my life. When I was twelve years old, I thought about ending my own life…then I pondered who would come to my funeral. Not fully understanding what was taking place, I set in motion that one day I would make a difference. I think everyone goes through this phase in life, but how many will act upon it?

Would I become a Priest, a Doctor or a great powerful person? None of these…I became Joe. Understanding the lessons of my own life, I realize that I am only responsible for one person in this lifetime…and that is me. Each new day I am only responsible for saving myself. Selfishly that sounds, but it is true for all of us. We do not have to save any one person but ourselves. In saving ourselves, we can save humanity. One person at a time…we arrive.

As my writing continues, something deeper within burns hot like fire, a desire to help others find this way. It is not spoken, it is not definitive…it merely just is. The Way is the same for everyone, but it is different for everyone. My path is not yours and yours is not mine. We must find our own Way in this Canvas of Life, accepting ‘All there is.’ In our own acceptance, we find a worldly acceptance for all there is.

The fire burning, desire to paint yet another picture…I come to a place of knowing. Knowing that whatever I dream, it shall be so. Whatever I choose, it is with all my heart. I am all in or not at all…either one remains the same.

So what do we do when we have a burning desire? Follow it! Live the dreams and make them true. Not one person can set this dream in motion except for the dreamer who chooses to make it so. As for me, I continue moving forward into the unknown. Not knowing where my writing shall take me, where my dreams we lead…wherever they lead, I continue by faith knowing it to be true.

Stepping into the Canvas as the beginning and the end, for it is perceived freely by one’s own perception.  Whichever foot we lead with in the morning, may it be the preface of the day, writing Love upon it and sending positivity wherever we go…leading us Foreword into the Canvas.
