Heart Sees

Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye.~H.Jackson Brown, Jr.

Too often filled with questions, dilemmas or situations that we do not like. Filled with fear, stuck in a rut…with nowhere to go. What do we do? Where do we turn?

More often than not it is as simple as going from our head to the heart. As children we did not think of how or why, but we just did what we needed to do. Either doing or asking for help, often failing…only to retry. If we did not understand something, we simply asked for guidance from a parent, a mentor, or the like…allowing us to go from point A to point B. As adults we have forgotten or have become stuck in our ways of complacency.

Stepping into the Canvas with our Heart eyes widened. With new eyes, we are given new opportunities. Opportunities of seeing a brighter outcomes, painting new pictures, getting to the places we seek to find.

What is Invisible to The Eye

Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye.~H.Jackson Brown, Jr.

We are often deceived by our own eyes, trying to interpret what is visualized and understood by our own consciousness. What we fail too see…is with a humbled heart. The homeless man who pan-handles for money, judging them and declaring they need to get a job. Failing to realize this person lost everything he once loved and has given up on life itself. What we see as an opportunity to shove our own judgment upon them, we fail to give hope of encouraging words or a loving hand.

I Have a Dream

One day after the Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr., we are reminded of the message that rang clear on August 28, 1963. It was a message of freedom and equality for all people: Black Men and White Men, Protestants and Catholics, Jews and Gentiles alike. It was a demonstration for peace on the grandest of levels. This message still carries much weight into modern-day.

While more Brothers and Sisters are coming together as one, we still have fighting amongst God’s Children. We have extremist groups in all sectors of religious faith, claiming they are the chosen and everyone else is not. If Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. where alive today he would have included more into his speech, calling arms of peace to unite as one family under one God. Whether we call him Allah, God, Source, or Universal Consciousness, we are all one family and need to praise where Praise is due. Give thanks for the daily miracle of breath, the amazing miracle of change…giving thanks to God above.

“We must all learn to live together as brothers or we will all perish together as fools. We are tied together in the single garment of destiny, caught in an inescapable network of mutuality. And whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly. For some strange reason I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be. And you can never be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be. This is the way God’s universe is made; this is the way it is structured.”
~ Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

On a personal level I have seen this Dream King has mentioned and I too have seen the promise-land. This place does not house the evil of despair, murdering in the name of their Father. No, not this place…only Love exists in this place. If we are busy praising our Father in Heaven, we would have no time to kill another. Let us Praise Him, sharing in His Love…giving it to all people.

The Way that can be told of is not the eternal Way;

The name that can be named is not the eternal Name.

~Lao Tzu

Stepping into the Canvas as One Peoples. We are all apart of the same Tree of Life: planted, watered and cared for by our Heavenly Father. As the Ojibwe saying goes…“No two branches would be so foolish to fight amongst themselves.” We are all branches from the same Tree of Life. Live harmoniously, as one branch, one tree…as One Peoples…and you too shall say ‘I Have a Dream.’
