Intentions to Reality

While thought is important, it is the actions which follow that bring our intentions to reality.~Ani Po

While both are important, it is our actions that speak a thousand words. Without the right actions our thoughts fizzle out…never making it to fruition. Dream and dream big, but know these dreams to be attainable…that is the missing link to our own reality. With a little faith we go from knowing it to be true to KNOWING IT TO BE TRUE…

Being All You Can Be

Each precious moment of your life in which you are frozen with fear is a moment when you are not being all you can be.~Rhonda Britten

Too often we hear people with excuses as to why they can or cannot do something. Worse they remain in fear or stressed by a given situation, due to the conditioned response of remaining in fear. Letting go of this fear, we find ourselves in a place of true freedom…freedom to live in a field of Infinite Possibilities.

Defining Syncrosensational

amazing picture

A day does not pass when we’re reminded of pain and suffering in the world. The dilemma? Do we dwell in it or do we create a new way of life? The choice is ours and ours alone. We mustn’t wait for a guru or someone else to figure it out for us, but walk the path alone. The guru or teacher may be a catalyst to what we already know, but it is our ambition to meaning that gets us to our destination.

When negativity is all around us, we must learn techniques of guarding ourselves from other persons negativity. Apply filters to our ears until all that remains is positivity that which filters into the brain. If their energy is too strong then politely excuse oneself until composure is regained. Some filters may include happy, positive thoughts or sending silent blessings to the perpetrator…Doing so instinctively draws upon a higher power.

Apply a guarded tongue…for our words shall amplify our actions or surroundings. Similarly, our words can give strength to a negative person…creating more negativity exponentially. With a guarded tongue we can assure only positivity into our lives, as our words become actions.

The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.

Whatever you speak can bring life or death into your life. ~Proverbs18:21

Check  the  emotions  at  the  door. Just  as  in  one  of  the  steps  of  the  Eightfold  path (http://steppingintothecanvas.com/a-modern-warriors-eightfold-path /), life is much easier when we master our emotions. When we check our emotions at the door, we clear-headedly cipher through our dilemmas. When our emotions are in check, we have ability to master our actions.

If our thoughts become actions, then by thinking negative thoughts we shall end up acting out our negative thoughts. Basic Law of Attraction. Negative thoughts yield negative actions; positive thoughts nurture positive actions. Choose wisely. Focus not on the shortcomings, but the intent of our outcome. Wherever our intention flows our energy flows.

Living a syncrosensational life is about redefining oneself and the path we are on.  Does this path lead to destruction or does it lead to paradise? We all know the answers to these questions, but so few are willing to take necessary actions out of fear of being different. We are all different, but we are the same. Forget out about what others think and master thyself…release the fear now. We are the captain of our ship, the captain of our team. Be the Master of Synchronicity.

Stepping into the Canvas as a Master Painter, for we have painted our entire life: with paintings pleasing to the eye, while some not so much. Regardless of the flaws or flawlessness, we have mastered the strokes our entire life. It is time now to clean the slate, starting with fresh Canvas, Painting the Life we always dreamed. Have a Syncrosensational Day!

Creating a Syncrosensational Day

Recently, sitting with a circle of friends sharing intimate moments of life, we shared moments of magnificence. One person was so caught up in the moment as she described what made her feel magnificent, while stuttering between synchronicity and sensational. Stopping her and having her recite what she just said…What makes me feel Syncrosensational is this…

It is moments like this, we have an opportunity to share our deepest secrets while creating the life we want. In these moments…thoughts become things, our own reality is defined by syncrosensational moments. The group thought the word fitting for all, as we desire similarly dreams of happiness. May you all have syncrosensational moments throughout your days…

A long and contemplative look at the stars suggests to a thoughtful person the need of shining in his own place, a t her own magnitude, and with his or her own hue. ~Harold E. Kohn

Being open to new encounters and new ideas, we find ourselves experiencing more magical moments of magnificence. In these moments we define our reality. When sharing conversation with another, there is bound to be magic each and every time…if parties are open to it. Often times we need reminding of being open to new ideas, so here was our reminder…

We might do well to write out an affirmation and hang it over our desk or over the kitchen sink: I AM ALWAYS OPEN TO NEW IDEAS. ~Dan Custer

Being open to change, one is bound to have a magical moment each and every day. Being open to change is an invitation for being in awe.

Stepping into the Canvas Open to Change. Within openness we find closure; we find peace, love and tranquility. It is vast and within reach…we need only be open to new ideas. Be open and you are bound to have a Syncrosensational day!

5 Steps To A Syncrosensational Day

If we were to ask any one person what they desired most, it would be happiness. Happiness is the number one priority for every human being, sadly it often takes a back seat to our busy days. Well today is the day we make it a priority…today is the day we let go of everything but happiness.

Happiness is not anything that must be found, but merely accepted. Accepting happiness we set the stage for a syncronsensational day. We are meant to be happy, we are meant to be free.

The first step is often the most difficult, but most critical. It is the very step that puts the machine into motion. The first step is identifying what we want and how we go about obtaining happiness. Again, I say to you, it is not something we find, but accept.

This first step could be identifying a stressful situation at work, an uncomfortable position working with a negative person, or it could be letting go of any self-defeating thoughts. The first step is identifying the end result.

Next we must commit to making necessary changes in our lives, allowing action to take over. By applying our dreams to our reality, they become our new reality. Making a commitment requires changing your mind on a set belief system and applying a new set of beliefs. Are there thoughts ”I’m not pretty enough” or ”I am not good enough?” What ever the identifier is in ones life…see it, label it and change it to a new belief…that of something more positive. We are good enough, we are beautiful enough and we shall no longer ask ”why me?” Instead, it shall be…Why not me?

Committing to happiness, we set into motion the necessary steps.  Posting notes or little reminders around the house, they remind us of our goals. We may paint or draw a vision board or write a daily journal or log about our intended goals for that day…which ultimately leads to the final goal of eternal happiness.

By writing it in a journal, a log or creating a vision board, we are committing our goals and etching them into stone. The more we place these little reminders in plain sight, the better the chance of becoming a reality. Seeing happiness and feeling it with every cell in our body, we change our thoughts into a new reality. Our thoughts become things by literally altering every neurofiber within our brain. In doing so, we are etching our new reality into stone.

1. Identify the area of need

2. Commit to making a change.

3. Take the necessary Steps.

4. Write it in stone.

5. Witness…and so shall it be.

Ultimately, to find happiness, we must merely accept it, but whatever we desire in our lives we believe it shall be so. In doing so, we are feeling it with our whole being, and we are witnessing our own miracles take form. In witnessing…we shall know it to be true.

Stepping into the Canvas taking necessary steps. In doing so, we commit to a new belief system…one of truth. We see it, we feel it…we know it to be true. Believing in our own happiness, we set in motion the necessary steps towards our end goal. Take the necessary steps, commit to change and write them in stone…Defining Syncrosensational.

Change Your Words, Change Your Life

Every interaction, every moment is an opportunity to either spread Love or Hate and only takes ONE WORD to do it. Depending the word, will determine the vibration of the interaction. Hate vibrates at a lower level, being that of destructive forces. While Love vibrates at the highest of levels, creating only more Love.

In Power vs. Force, David Hawkins discusses different levels of vibration, breaking down our choices into simple, what he refers to as power words. Another idea is that even our words attract more of that we speak. The Secret, discusses the Law of Attraction, teaching us to redirect our thoughts and attracting more of that which we want. Warning us of redirecting our thoughts and words to only use the “Power Words” to get what we want in life. Our thoughts lead to choice of words, which in turn creates the life around us. There is no magic formula to this Law, but will work every time.  Change your thoughts and words, and the world around you will surely return the favor. Enjoy this ancient Korean Poem, as it reminds us to be careful of the words we speak.

JUST ONE WORD

Just one uncaring word can spark a fight.

Just one cruel word can shatter a life.

Just one harsh word can sow misunderstanding.

Just one disrespectful word can douse the fervor of love.

Just one kind word can smooth a rocky path.

Just one joyful word can cheer a gloomy day.

Just the right word can lighten an uneasy heart.

Just one affectionate word can show the beauty of the world.

(a centuries old Korean poem, author unknown)

In the Four Agreements, Don Miguel Ruiz discusses Toltec Wisdom at its basics. These four guidelines, if followed, can lead to a happier and more simple life. He discusses four agreements: Be Impeccable with your word, Don’t take anything personally, Don’t make assumptions, Always do you best. While all are beneficial he emphasizes the greatest of these being Impeccable with your Word:

Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean.

Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others.

Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and Love.

How does one person change the words they speak? Re-align your thoughts to that of Love.

There was a man who was at the top of his game and thought he was pretty special, until one day he met a gypsy who told him that he was very negative and needed to change his ways. “What are you talking about? I am not,” explained this man. She explained, “While you are kind a giving to the people around you, you hurt the ones closest to you. You speak negatively towards your wife, use her as the brunt of your jokes. I know she is strong, but every word, great or small, has an impact on the people around us. The more negative baggage we have to carry, eventually we are weighted down by our own negativity. If all you are sending her is negativity, that is all she will fill her bags with. From this day forward, only speak of Love to her…try it for a week and see how much you speak.”

The gentleman accepted the challenge, thinking it would be easy, but realized how negative he was, as no words came out of his mouth for that week. Re-aligning his thoughts and speech, he began looking for ways to speak in loving kindness to her. He continued this for six months, even in the darkest of times. Six months went by and his wife came to him saying, “I do not know what has changed you, but I Love you now…more than ever before. Thank you for always making me feel good! I Love you!” With this surprise discussion, the man learned a valuable lesson in life. He learned that if he can change with just one person, why not expand this knowledge to more people. He went on to be the most positive person around. Still not perfect, but able to stay positive and learn quickly from the many lessons that present to him.

Another story is of a homeless person begging for change, but is not meeting his daily quota to buy food at the end of the day. Being blind, he cannot do anything but sit there and wait for the sounds of money hitting his tin can.

One day a woman, walking by, wrote something on his sign and walked away. That day the man got more in one day then he had in a whole month. What did this woman do? Let’s watch this great video by Purplefeather, and see the power of words in action…

Stepping into the Canvas re-aligning our thoughts, changing our words. Our thoughts control our actions and words. Whatever our thoughts will be our words. If they align with negativity we emit negativity.  Aligning with only positive thoughts, actions will automatically become that of positivity. Walking in positive thoughts, sharing only that of Love. “Change your words, Change your Life.”

Try it just for a week…see what happens…

Dog vs Karma: Which has the Bigger Bite?

Ever wonder why good things happen to some people, and bad things always happen to others? Some say it is Karmic Law or Law of Attraction that rule our days. Whatever we put out into the universe, we will receive. Thereby deducing to whatever thoughts or actions we send, we will receive on a similar frequency.

Up until the Warrior was 35 years, she rode a roller-coaster ride with continuous ups and downs. She used to think that when something good happened, something bad was right around the corner. While it was true about the ups and downs, this isn’t how it works. What she failed to see was: when feeling good, we attract more good; feeling bad, we attract more bad. Karmic Law or Law of Attraction, whatever the law…it has truth.

As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.

~Proverbs 23:7

At the 35 years old, the time of her shift towards positivity, she realized her thoughts  affected her daily outcomes. Whether good thoughts or bad thoughts, they attracted the same force into her life. We use the analogy of good and bad here, for the basic principal of understanding. Human consciousness sees two sides to every story: one has a ‘good’ outcome and the other had ‘bad’ outcome. We are the only sentient being that see dualities.

Understanding these principles better, the warrior begins making alternative plans throughout her days. Filling them with gladness, she in return gets more to be glad about. Pilgrims often stop her to correct her, “you can’t possibly see everything as good…it just doesn’t work like that.” Being young, the warrior might have shut down for 2-3 days with such a negative statement. Being stronger she smiles at the pilgrim, “thank you for your opinion, but in my world nothing ever goes wrong.” This might seem delusional, but in reality we are all delusional…why not be delusional and feel good, attracting everything we most desire?

Even though our Warrior has just begun to experience all that the Universe has to offer, even in her ups and downs of the roller-coaster, she has always remained virtuous. Her actions while not always perfect in her youth,  always treated people with the ‘golden rule’ in mind: “We are to treat people as we want to be treated.” Knowing what she knows now, she has adopted the ‘Platinum Rule.’ One step further than the golden, “we are to treat people as THEY want to be treated.” Because of our many diversities, we may not want the same things, thereby offering what the other person wants.

Have you ever heard the expression, “be careful not to burn a bridge? ”

Years ago, when the Warrior was yet a pilgrim herself, she was still in training as a healer and surrounded by vicious attack dogs. Her daily life was walking on pins and needles as she received her training from a leader who obviously was not happy in life. The Warrior was verbally abused, made to feel inferior. It was as if she was bitten by a large  hungry wolf. Not being able to ever sit and relax, her left cheek throbbed from continues biting. Turning the other cheek, she forgave the hungry wolves who abused her.

Twenty years later when she has nearly mastered her healing practice, the Warrior receives a knock at her door. It was one of the hungry wolves from her past. Feeling instant pain in her left side, her somatic response reminds her of the pain she endured just by the mere sight of this hungry wolf. Something is different this time.

The hungry wolf is weak and hungry. Not for blood, but for life. Worn and tattered, she asks for a hand out. The Warrior turned her cheek once more,  remembering to offer the Heart of Compassion at all times. She agrees to letting the hungry wolf into her house and offers her sustenance. The wolf explains that she has no work and cannot support her family in these trying times. She then asks for a job.

The Warrior smiles, offering her more compassion. She explains, “when I was young, you were the meanest person to me. You made me feel inferior, inadequate as a human being, and hated going to school everyday. Now you sit here asking for a handout. I am a forgiving person and I hope you have changed your ways, knowing that you cannot treat people with such indignity. I will see what I can do.” The Warrior and the wolf embrace, comforting the wolf…then they part and go their separate ways.

While the Warrior unfortunately did not have an available position, she was sincere and took the opportunity to express her Heart of Compassion. The irony here is that when she was young she got bit on the butt by a hungry wolf. Now the hungry wolf is getting bit on the butt by Karmic Law. When we live in the flesh, just as the Warrior experienced, the pain lasts only for a moment as it is only flesh healing with time. The bitten becomes strong, but the biter opens herself up to more pain later on. So which bite hurt more? The bite of the hungry wolf or the bite of Karmic Law. Who felt it more? The Warrior or the Hungry wolf?

Stepping into the Canvas with a softer step. Meeting mother earth with every step, giving her a gentle kiss. We walk softly among the pilgrims and other Warriors with better understanding of who we are and how we got here. In all our adversities and all our glorious moments, we have risen to this very day. This is our day to shine and not one person can take that away from us.

Waiting for a Miracle

Today I witnessed a miracle! How many can say that? It would be false to say that we do not see miracles happen each day: feet we walk on, air we breathe, voice we speak with, and ears we listen to yet even more miracles of His perfection. These are obvious and often taken for granted. In the interest of wanting more proof of miracles happening each day, we shall open our eyes a bit further to witness just that.

To witness these miracles we have to actively pursue them: to see the miracle of breath one must center themselves on their breathing and embrace the mystery of its existence, to witness the miracle of walking one must observe themselves as one who can walk, etc. It takes an active participating role on our parts, but also requires a hint of gratitude. Being grateful for what is given to us, only provides more abundance into our lives. A poor man can be the richest of all by seeing the miracle of life and holding gratitude for all it presents, while the richest of man can be the poorest of all by failing to see the gifts presented to him.

Well today I witnessed a more obvious miracle. Yesterday a gentleman started Radiation Treatments, whom was 2-3 weeks status post craniotomy for the removal of a tumor. His prognosis was grim and his team began giving up on him. When we went to get him he was sitting up, but they told us to get a cart as he was getting weaker as the days pass. With the look of a broken spirit, he agreed to come down for treatment and seeing that he was already in a chair we kept him in the chair.

We explained to him (let’s call him Bob) the procedure for treating his brain with Radiation and we explained to him how we were going to get him on and off the treatment table. Suffering from hemi-paresis his whole right side was not functioning normal, leaving him unable to use his right arm or his right foot. Outweighing me by 50 pounds I knew I was also in for a workout. Before we began I told him a story of a friend of mine, David Dubats of Second Step Inc., whom teaches people how to walk once again through neuroplasticity training. If you want to learn more about David’s work, please go to:  http://www.secondstepinc.com

Bob’s eyes lit brightly when I told him of this possibility. With reaction of excitement and purpose, to David’s story, I explained to him that it was up to him from this day forward and further reminded him, as so often we forget, that he had a senior partner with him at all times that he could call on 24/7. I told him to start praying…and that is just what he did.

The next day Bob could not wait to show me his progress. With a smile on his face from ear to ear, he began to raise his arm over his head as he spoke, “I though about what you said and I didn’t go to sleep last night. I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to move after HE gave me strength to move my arm. He answered my prayer!”

With tears in my eyes, we embraced and Praised God for this miracle.

Neuroplasticity is the concept of re-wiring the brain to function as we think it to be. In biblical terms, “as a man thinketh, so is he.” It can also be paralleled with the Law of Attraction, “If you can see it and feel it, then so shall it be.”

After Bob’s second treatment he whispered to me, “Thank you for teaching me how to ask. I asked big and God Delivered. Praise His holy name Brother.” I humbly replied, “Thank you Bob for being such a wise teacher. Praise God!”

As you Step Into the Canvas today, take note of the many miracles of life, but then be ready to receive larger ones. Ask and it shall be given unto you.
