Stepping into the Rain

Oh the clouds roll in,

Blocking the sunny day.

Worry not,

For it clears troubled hearts.

Step out into the rain,

Won’t you?

That’s it,

Letting it wash away fear.

Look up,

Kissing a thousand angels.

Cleansed of the past,

And worries of future.

Step out into the rain,

Won’t you?

Stepping into the rain we are stepping into our fears. Stepping into fear we are clearing that which holds us back. With every drop, every kiss…we are reminded of healing within our storms…Ani Po

Gentle Kisses

Just as the gentle kisses rain upon my forehead,

The day kisses me with happiness.

To be drowned in worry,

Remaining cold and wet.

To smile in delight,

Dancing in its warm embrace.

Just as the gentle kisses rain upon my forehead,

It is returned…giving thanks for a delightful reminder.

April’s Gifts

April’s a gift tied with ribbons of rain,

Silken and silvery. Over again

April’s a green world with

dove-colored weather,

And wet nights that glisten like

Black patent Leather!

~Maureen Cannon

P.S. For today a change of white’s and blacks fill

the blue skies. Dusting, clouding, moistening the grounds.

Yes it is snowing in April. ~ Joseph Lieungh
