Very often a change of self is needed more than a change of scene.~A.C.Benson
Too often looking outwardly, interpreting what we see. Judging good versus bad, pretty versus ugly, joyous and angry. Merely our own interpretation. Finding ourselves in an uncomfortable situation or in a difficult jam, frozen in our own fear or further judgment.
Being present in any given situation possibly amidst chaos or despair, but no longer affected by sadness. Being present in any given situation we are free to interpret whilst remaining in peace if we so choose.
Maybe there is a co-worker who annoys the tar out of you, or they just don’t get it?! What if…it is they who get it and you whom fail to see truth? Skewed by anger, we only see others as needing to change.
Maybe we spend too much time trying to correct others for varying beliefs, by our standards, and not enough time enjoying what the Canvas of Life has to offer. Seeing differences, celebrating beauty…we shift our thoughts from self to global consciousness. In all the varying colors painted upon the Canvas, we rejoice at the many thoughts and ideas that assemble into one.
Instead of looking how to change things, ask how can we change? Instead of changing scenery, how can we change ourselves?
Stepping into the Canvas with a new perspective…a change of self. We are not to change any one person in the world but merely ourselves. While there is nothing to be done, if there is…it is with self-realization.
The connection within nature has far greater speeds.~Ani Po
Not sure if this has happened to you or not, but chances are it has. Most everyone I know has lost their internet connection at least once. The story is usually the same…”oh my goodness, what do I do? My internet is out…I do not know what to do!” The reaction is usually that of despair, as if they just lost something of great value.
I smile, searching for higher meaning. We could say we are to disconnect or exercise patience…or we are merely to learn how to handle the suffering that comes from our lack. Regardless of the lesson, the truth remains. We are riddled with suffering over something taking control of our lives. Does our life end because internet connections are lost? Not at all!
Nature’s invitation is to reconnect with a greater internet speed…that of nature. No lost emails, no slow loading pages, no wifi outages, nope…nothing. The connection is always present, inviting us to connect with higher speeds.
Stepping into the Canvas disconnecting, only to reconnect. Connecting with faster internet speeds, we have infinite resources at our disposal.
See or unseen,
Right or wrong.
Up or down,
Left or right.
In and Out,
Dependent on how we see it.
Joy or sadness,
Anger or bliss.
Hatred or love,
Dependent on how we see it.
Those around us with varying thoughts,
Not matching our own.
Are they right or wrong?
Different or are they the same?
Nothing differing and nothing the same,
It just is.
Our perceptual understanding,
Our level of reality.
Dependent on thoughts around us.
Thoughts real or unreal,
They remain our own.
Whatever the reality,
Owning or dissolving reality.
Enjoy it or hate it,
We are left merely with a choice,
Seen or unseen it remains dependent on how we see it…Ani Po
This is my reality,
from the depths of my soul.
Once voided out black,
Now illuminating with technicolor.
What I see you do not,
What you may see remains foreign to me.
Blue because that is what they have said,
But is the blue the same for me and you?
The depths of my understanding, written upon the Canvas,
For it may not be understood by another.
Likewise your truth is yours,
May not be my own.
For in understanding I see what you see,
You hear what I hear.
In collaboration we create a beautiful masterpiece,
Left for self interpretation.
Stepping into the Canvas with yet a deeper understanding. As we unravel one truth to the next, we come to yet another. Knowing very little, once knowing everything, our reality is dissolved in a single stroke of the Masters’ brush upon the Canvas of Life.
