Daily Mood that Makes the Weather

I have come to the frightening conclusion that I am the decisive element. It is my personal approach that creates the climate. It is my daily mood that makes the weather.

I possess tremendous power to make a life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture, or an instrument of inspiration.

I can humiliate or humor, hurt or heal.

In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or de-escalated, and a person humanized or dehumanized.

If we treat people as they are, we make them worse. If we treat people as they ought to be, we help them become what they are capable of becoming.

Freedom Comes To Us

Freedom comes to us as we realize all that holds us back from where we truly desire to arrive.~Ani Po

I am often asked about what to do when someone keeps us from attaining our own goals. If it is a casual friend or a stranger it is pretty easy, but when it is someone close to us we often feel trapped as to making the decision that feels so right. Let it go.

We have a goal in mind, one that will lead us to happiness, but yet we fail to make the appropriate shift towards our happiness. We sacrifice our own, so that we may remain happily with those around us. Which is a greater risk? Staying miserably happy in the current situation or reaching for our own happiness? Let it go.

Stepping into the Canvas selfishly towards our own happiness. In doing so we allow those closest to decide whether our happiness is more important or keeping us in our current reality. Let it go.
