The Jazzy Blood of Love
by Joseph Lieungh and Frank Ontario
Arrgh,
Daggers drawn looking for the light in the blood
to make more light for this life and the next.
Pirates Prepare! Am, me Pirate of De Light with Fandango my dog-pup,
Dual Darkness of Devils Cauldron Brew — hue-who…
while Dj Gand Mall and the Seizure Seven
drop it like it’s hard, and the scallywags pour
their favorite brew — shaken, not stirred
phalanges are still afloat.
Golden rays flowing — sniffing hounds nonessential
for the lambent vessels illuminating the nightly
skies filled with chorus
Of goddesses, gods, fairies, and divas flouting flu of sounds
In clouds, close-quarters thunder booming flashes brilliance
purples, greens, and plaids playing with
Maestro giving the nod to tantalizing beats
Heartfelt transmission commencing fields of perfect luminosity
Dj spins, throat singing from stars transmitted frequencies
Flutes and drum beat echoing sounds of Mother Earth — sounds of creative actuality.
Caught in the crossfires interweaving of falling leaves
Changing winds, directional coursing through our veins
he, she, they interwoven space tranquility
Syncing in sycophancy synchronicities tick, tick, tick time out,
A pick-up — cha, sha-sha-sha, shin-shin ranky-roo
Shada-sha-Da Sheesh beat pops, poses flows and tumbles
Stars dances in supranovas make
Hearts exploding coalescing into one, won
Nine Bright shiners do
A doo-whop tee dew-ah
Spiral crystal staircase smooth,
Yeah baby, Ow Oom
Crooned Val Valkyrie and Pirate Pah of
De Light twirling deep in blood light
On high. Pah to Val out-of-key:
Oh, Love of Phi oh me, oh my…
(where’s me pup?)
