Broken Walls

Broken Walls

Faithful servant sledge-hammerly bringing us down

If not for the word,
powerful brush strokes of penning souls,
what more — attacking with structured pairing logical agendas.

Living

Daggers in a heartbeat —
the energetic flow of nature’s riff
kicked to the curb and left out to burn.

Outside

Attacking with subtleties
whispered backlash
red’s penciled scratch.

Boundaries

At first glance, towels thrown
center ring calling the fight
lest we forget mortal boundaries.

Remembering

The brick — crushing skulls
thrown by dictators’ delight
wounded spirits are crushing another.

Who we are

Not for the faint at heart
structured chaos — colored lines
stronghold oppressive thoughts no longer.

Those willing

Enter the dragon — fiery breath
clearing roads of destructive ways
oppressors’ oppressive thoughts no longer.

To hear

Spoken truths falling on deaf ears
heartfelt vibrational pull — diverting
those in glass houses.

It shall be so

Returning co-creative process
painting the canvas as we so choose
wishing no ill but a good day to you.

Living outside boundaries, remembering who we are. Those willing to hear, it shall be so.

If one does not understand the words or message felt, speak not your truths. Guard thy tongue — sharpened sword killing another’s dream.

Unforgivable sin — crushing spirit’s of pure in heart.

Scars thickening welded gold — implanted on hearts pure light.

Much gratitude to Viraji Ogodapola and Zay Pareltheon, for the invite to howl freely with my feathered friends. Thank you to Howling Owl for these words.

I often listen to music, while writing my weekend into delight, activating a loop pedal as I clear my thoughts, weekly endeavors — altering my footing. This piece is paired with Pride of Man by Quicksilver Messenger Service.

Much gratitude for those who take time to read, ponder, and allow the inner workings of self to come forward. Grateful for the feedback, love shared, and, more importantly, the Dance with Inspiration. Deep Peace.

Fears are the Veil

Fears are the Veil

Piercing through to a new tomorrow

Photo by William Randles on Unsplash

Our fears — the veil we must pierce
covered in past bigotry brilliantly spoke chivalry
hearts spoken soliloquy

Our pain — suffering touched by temporal thought
dreams of litany and giddily flippancy whippletree
hearts spoken soliloquy

Healing begins — centered self
no mind but zero point energies
standing on the edge of tomorrow

Lunar events, Lion’s gate
wait not for doorways to open
daily opportunities present

Who we are
to become
fear outweighed by possibility.

Much gratitude to Diana C., jules, Ravyne Hawke, Spyder and he whole Know Thyself Heal Thyself family, for these are my words, thoughts born unto me.

One day last week waking, from nightly travel, to a new thought familiar and unknown to self on a deeper level. The the lesson hits, my own thoughts kept me from seeing all this time.

Loop pedal activated, Standing on the Edge of Tomorrow by The Damned, shares in this story and soliloquy — or maybe not, you decide…

Much gratitude for those who take time to read, ponder, and allow the inner workings of self to come forward. Grateful for the feedback, love shared, and, more importantly, the Dance with Inspiration. Deep Peace.
