Fish Out of Water
On the shores of Chequamegon Bay
Fish out of water
on the shores of Chequamegon Bay
severed view of southern banks
peaked are the trees
not visible in blanketed steam.
Fear of the unknown persists
unit five’s comforting hold
gazing blinds narrow slit
left curious about the day’s delivering song
perplexed even now.
Madeline Island calls
escaping highways drowning tune
time to pay the ferryman
for breathtaking stillness
at the northeastern shoreymans.
Slow to roll
gathering thoughts absorbing
the weeks end
venture out, I must go
to the shores of Big Bay’s sacred chorus.

Thank you
and the whole Third-Eye-Gypsy family, for holding this sacred space.
Much gratitude for those who take time to read, ponder, and allow the inner workings of self to come forward. Grateful for the feedback, love shared, and, more importantly, the Dance with Inspiration. Deep Peace.
