I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.~Nelson Mandela
Everyone has fears of some sort, but not everyone deals with them the same. Some ignore them and some are debilitated by their fears. What are we afraid of? Are we afraid of catching a cold from someone whom failed to wash their hands? Afraid of getting into a car crash? Afraid of failing at something we love to do?
Whatever the fear, we have a choice to let it motivate us or cripple us. Working with Cancer patients for the past twenty-three years has allow me to see that is far more important to live than worry how we are going to die. One day I will die, this is true. It is not that I am afraid of dying or not, but I am more concern with how I am going to live my day out today.
Stepping into the Canvas conquering fears. In my acceptance of fear, whilst pressing on, I have mastered my own emotions that which debilitate my next steps. Acknowledging these fears and focusing on the task at hand or the goal in mind, my attention remains on the living out my dreams of things.
