Putting a value on status creates contentiousness.~Lao Tzu

We can spin this many ways but on the simplest of terms, it is the price tag we give any one thing that gives its value. The end result spells what we seek, but our happiness does not live on the value it is given.

If we put value in a given situation or within any material gain, when it is taken away we are left with an empty hole in our hearts. Going deeper within the self, we find contentment within our own being…no matter where we are or what material we are given. It is the acceptance of our happiness that can never be taken away…
