Ever notice the vast differences between groups, organizations, religious bodies or affiliated groups, etc.? We can’t turn the corner without having a secular group saying their way is the way and is the only way. To truly get through this game of life, we need to learn to play the game. With a different playbook on every team it’s as if we are to learn each others playbook.
Just as in football or any other sports for that matter, the coaches attempt learning another coaches playbook to gain advantage over the team, we need to understand each others playbook in this game of life. No playbook is superior than the rest, they only have varying plays. In the religious sector we have Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and Judaism all following books with varying plays. While the extremists, or what is often referred to as non-believers, point fingers at the other groups yelling…wrong! Assuredly they have forgotten their teachings. Not one teaching is right or wrong, just varying teachings that lead to the same place. Yet, we continue to fight over whose playbook is superior than the rest.
Letting go of who’s right and who’s wrong we adopt play books and we harmonize with other coaches following a differing playbook. Accepting your playbook, owning it, and then following it as best as you can you will learn to play as good as any master.
In politics we have Republicans, Democrats, independents, and even green parties, all tooting theirs is the way. How do we know which is the way? How do we know which is right or wrong? Look within, see it embedded in your heart, and know it to be true. Whichever way you follow whichever path you choose whichever playbook, embed it within your heart, follow it, trust it, believe in it… Know it to be true.
The sooner we learn to mingle with other coaches, other preachers, other teachers, the easier this game of life. Learning the social intercourse, and learning each others playbook, without judgment, we will have a fruitful life. With every step of the way, we shall learn and grow…each and every step.
Stepping into the canvas with joy in our hearts. It is not about who’s right who’s wrong, how hard we work, it is about enjoying this thing called life. Take time to have some fun, learn to play, maybe even visit the monkey bars like you were a kid again. Life is meant to be enjoyed not the opposing. This is your time to shine, this is your time to play, this is your time to have fun… Have a glorious day!
