The day is growing more beautiful with every breath,

As I breathe in sunshine, returning the return breath of life.

The pollen floats to its nearest bed,

Grasping sight of new beginnings.

The wind calls my name,

The trees whisper in collaboration.

I am soaking up every bit of happiness today,

For that is what makes my soul sing.

Taking in as much as I can,

For tomorrow may not yield another chance.

This may be the last chance for happiness,

Gratitude is all I have.

I can only hope for one more day,

As today has almost passed.

Living this day to the fullest,

For it may be the last.

Peace has filled my heart,

Filling the world around me.

Instill peace that is all I need to know.

Today I am soaking up every bit of happiness,
