Welcome Home

Home is where the Heart is

In the simplest forms — keeping true to oneself — no fluff or exaggerated storylines — returning to whence we came. From the dust, we came — to dust, we return.

The new chapter begins with pages of old filled with pain and joy and old houses filled with memories of self, coupled with little pattered feet, moving forward without hesitation or regret.

Established cornerstone placed — placing roots in neighboring fields — welcoming new memories to fade away like whispering winds. Scribes of the unknown — never knowing, ever-growing — letting the fallen trees cast shadows of healing songs.

Alluring return — to a house no longer bringing joy — so great the temptation — knocking on closed doors.

Pause.

Remaining true to the heart — broken once before — placing a beating drum — heartbeats calling to sacred tune. It shall be written upon the walls — past to present — merely a memory.

With gratitude and utmost respect — wishing well filling to the rim — sending heartfelt beatings of ancient melodia. Home is where the heart is — welcome home.

Thank you Zay Pareltheon, Marilyn J Wolf, Viraji Ogodapola, and the whole Howling Owl community for keeping the flow of hooter’s quo.

Much gratitude for those who take time to read, ponder, and allow the inner workings of self to come forward. Grateful for the feedback, love shared, and, more importantly, the Dance with Inspiration. Deep Peace.

Architect of the Unseen

Seeing the simple as miraculous

Out of misery
tainted memories
painted by a myriad of familial
ancestral thoughts.

Accepting where we came from
choosing a forward step into what may be
unbeknownst to self
no sight of what may be.

Sitting quietly in ‘being’
allowing the greenest of meadows giving birth
the water of life
flows.

Breath of fresh air
wherever we step
out of fires,
we are born.

Into clear blue seas
bathing in purity for centuries to be
what was unseen
shall now be seen.
