Tired, Tattered, Seafaring Man

What of the tired,

Tattered,

Seafaring Man?

Steady as she goes,

No port on horizon.

Sing to the seas,

Sing to birds.

Time passing by.

What of the tired,

Tattered,

Seafaring man?

Surrounded,

By thousand generations.

Brother sets,

Follow Sisters stream across the water.

What of the tired,

Tattered,

Seafaring man?

Steady as she goes,

No port on horizon.

Sing to the seas,

Sing to birds.

Time passing by.

Gently Down the Stream

Steady the boat,

Gently down the stream.

Singing familiar tune,

Merrily, Merrily it is so.

Stay seated,

Eyes gazing past the bow.

One hand port,

Another starboard side.

Unwavering amidst climbing swells,

Intoning with songs of Universe.

Steady as she goes,

Next stop nobody knows…
