I often find myself on a cyclical pattern, with thoughts of giving up writing and sharing my thoughts with others, as if crawling back into my turtle shell. However, being the slight extrovert I am, I sit quietly with my thoughts and re-evaluate my path moving forward…only to emerge with fire.
The world ebbs and flows, whether we like it or not. Nature has no direction, but ‘just is.’ Getting to a place of, as my dear friend Ben states “Just Be,” we arrive at a place of non-judgement. Non-judgement, not only on the self, but for all people. We become more patient, we accept all peoples and live without fear of what the world says we should.
Is it natural to have days of “Oh woe is me?” Of course it is…we are having human moments! Everything in nature has cycles: the moon, the sun, plant-life, animals, humans…we all have them. The difference, not to say we are different, is that we are human and we have brains to think with. “We think, therefore we are.” Those lucky enough to accept enlightenment, find oneness and embrace both the ups and downs within their own lives. I say accept enlightened beings, as we are all enlightened…we merely have forgotten.
Often times, it is our lows that shoots us to the moon with a new idea, a new direction…the key to this…follow the dream, making necessary adjustments to the daily grind. In doing so, we make room for a new beginning. The most difficult step is always the first, but stepping in faith we arrive in hope.
So what does it for me? What breaks my cycles? A nice note from someone battling their own journey, telling me not of what they have done, but what they are doing. When we witness another asserting themselves in the Light of hope, we are assured our works have not been for naught. Although, the only person we need correcting to gain access to paradise is the self, it sure is a wonderful feeling knowing that you helped another along The Way.
We are here to learn and grow, but we are also here to share our experiences. Not to force feed them to anyone, but to allow them to take your hand. In taking another persons hand, we are accepting their path and sharing the experience. Chances are it shall be a domino effect on another…so the journey continues…
Stepping into the Canvas Knowing. As we set out to change the world, we come to a place of self-revitalization. Coming to this place, our eyes are given a fresh new appearance. The glaze of old removed and the Rainbow of new hope prevails. Our lives become fresh and giddy, as if entering our childhood once again. This is our greatest gift..the gift of Knowing Thyself…inside and out.
